Fluffy French Toast

A breakfast favourite in our home is french toast topped with fresh fruit and whipped cream. So good! I found this recipe on All Recipes with tons of great reviews so it seemed like a no brainer to try it. And we were not disappointed. The recipe uses flour which helps to make them super fluffy.

Fluffy French Toast

1/4 cup all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

1 pinch salt

3 eggs

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon white sugar

12 thick slices Texas toast

Whisk together the milk and flour. Add the remaining ingredients. Heat a skillet or pancake grill over medium heat.

Dip both sides of the bread in the egg mixture until saturated and cook on both sides until golden. Serve hot with pancake syrup and whatever your family enjoys. Recipe makes about 10 slices

Enjoy!
