I am a huge fan of dips, love them. I love that a dip can make raw vegetables more appetizing for my kids, there are very few dips that I have tried that I didn't like. Although, the one kind that I don't care for are the ones from a bottle or jar. It might just be me but they taste like "manufactured" food to me. And quite frankly, so many things that we buy in a jar are easily made at home, giving you control over what you put in.
This dressing recipe was found online and adjusted a little.
Ranch Dressing
1 cup mayo
1/2 cup sour cream
2 green onions, chopped
1/2 tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp dried dill
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
Stir all ingredients together and let it sit in the fridge for an hour so that the flavours meld together. If you want this a little thinner to be used as a dressing, just add a little milk.
Enjoy!
